In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things love. – Marco Antonio de Dominis

I believe that being right is never more important than fellowshipping with brothers and sisters in Christ. However, I also believe there are some essentials to the Christian faith.

  • I believe in a creator God and in the Holy Trinity as described in both the Apostle's and Nicene Creeds.
  • I believe that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone. I also believe that faith is more than mere belief. Faith is acting on a belief and in this case means desiring and actively receiving salvation. (Acts 4:12, Romans 3:24-25a Romans 10:9-11, 1 Peter 3:18, James 2:19)
  • I believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God, and in the original language is without error. I believe the canonization of the Bible was also inspired by God, and carried out by men. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 3:15-17, Revelation 22: 18-19)
  • I believe in the priesthood of believers where each believer has direct access to the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. (Matthew 27:50-51, 1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 4:15-16)
  • I believe that God the Father desires a personal relationship with each of us, similar to the relationship He has with Jesus as described in the Gospels. This ministry is founded on the belief that God makes His will known to us, as described by Henry Blackaby and others in Experiencing God.

As the founder and president of this ministry, the statements listed above are mine. While not a strict requirement, the current board members share the essence of these beliefs. While there is no "contractual" requirement to accept these beliefs, this ministry looks to support efforts that are in line with these beliefs.
